ABOUT THE REFUGE
The Refuge Youth Ministries exists to create a safe place for students 7th-12th grade to learn about the Truth's of life, as seen through God's Word.

Each week, dozens of youth ages 7-12th grade get together to have fun, meet new people, and learn about God’s plan for their lives.
Our goal is to be a place where students can learn about God in a way that is on their level and relevant to where they are in life. On Wednesday Nights, we come together for a time of exciting worship, engaging teaching, and an atmosphere where students can truly be themselves.

A note to parents: We understand the value of our young people. Here at The Refuge, we are committed to the students of Princeton and the surrounding area. We believe in strong family values and understand that without parent’s support, this ministry would not be successful.

Service Time: 7:00pm-8:15pm Wednesdays
Students are invited on Wednesday nights to join us as early as 6:00pm and to stay as late as 9:00pm at NLC.
Upcoming Events
252 Doctrine Class
Refgue Youth Ministries offers a student based doctrine class for students 8th through 12th grade. Here is where they will learn "why they believe what they believe."

Registration is needed
Class begins Sunday, October 4, 2026 and
ends Sunday February 28, 2027
Class will meet during First Service at 8a in Room G2
(located in the church gym)
​
Students are required to attend weekly, except on dates where class takes a break per the youth pastors and Sunday school teachers decision.
​
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only 3 absences are allowed. Beyond 3 absences students will be asked to start over in the next session in Fall of 2027.

Youth Alive One Day
Youth Alive One Day is a day where we gather together to ignite a passion and inspire YA Student Leaders to reach their schools and communities.
​
Meet at New Life at 1p on Sunday, September 20th, already having eaten lunch, or bring a lunch to eat on the bus as we head to River of Life Church in Coldspring, MN.
Dinner will be provided at the event!
We will be back at NLC at 10p.
​
This is a FREE EVENT - vendors may be available to purchase a variety of merch, please plan to bring spending money if you wish to buy something

Minnesota Youth Convention
Minnesota Youth Convention is on of the most powerful weekends of the year! Thousands of students from across the state will gather at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN for dynamic worship, life-changing messages and unforgettable moments with the Lord and friends. It's a time to encounter God in a real way, grow deeper in faith and build friendships that last far beyond the weekend.

Cost: $195 - does not include food or spending
Check-in on Thursday, October 15: 11a at New Life
We stop for lunch in Rogers, MN on our way down to Rochester
Early Bird Deadline: Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:59p
As of Thursday, September 24th there is a $20 increase and official registration close deadline is Friday, September 25th

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights are a regular gathering for Refuge students and leaders during the school year! Join us as early as 6:00pm for a 7:00pm service, and stay as late as 9:00pm for hang time after.

Youth Sunday School
Join us on Sunday mornings in the NLC gym at
11:15a on Sunday, September 13th
for Fall Sunday School Kick-off!!

7-12th grade students are invited to join us for worship, intentional breakouts to study God's truth and to be equipped as witnesses in the world around us. Breakfast is cooked and served by our youth pastors and youth leaders once a month. Don't miss it!​
