ABOUT THE REFUGE

The Refuge Youth Ministries exists to create a safe place for students 7th-12th grade to learn about the Truth's of life, as seen through God's Word.

Each week, dozens of youth ages 7-12th grade get together to have fun, meet new people, and learn about God’s plan for their lives.

Our goal is to be a place where students can learn about God in a way that is on their level and relevant to where they are in life. On Wednesday Nights, we come together for a time of exciting worship, engaging teaching, and an atmosphere where students can truly be themselves.

A note to parents: We understand the value of our young people. Here at The Refuge, we are committed to the students of Princeton and the surrounding area. We believe in strong family values and understand that without parent’s support, this ministry would not be successful.

Service Time: 7:00pm-8:15pm Wednesdays

Students are invited on Wednesday nights to join us as early as 6:00pm and to stay as late as 9:00pm at NLC.

MYC 2024

It's happening!!! MYC 2024 is Oct. 17-19th and you can sign up here! You can also grab an application at Refuge on Wednesday nights or on Sunday mornings.

Cost is $175 - Students $90 for Leaders Deadline is Oct. 9

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights are a regular gathering for refuge students and leaders during the school year! Join us as early as 6:00pm for a 7:00pm service, and stay as late as 9:00pm for hang time after.

What to Expect:

Lobby Time | Rec | Worship | The Word

Our students often make their way to Pizza Pub in Princeton for post-service hangs -- join them!

Pizza Pub is not a refuge event but a natural gathering place for our refuge community. It is geared more toward upperclassmen. If your student is in junior high we ask that they be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Youth Sunday School

Sunday mornings in the NLC gym at 8:30am

7th-12th grade students are invited to join us for donuts, worship, and intentional breakouts to study God's truth and be equipped as witnesses in the world around us.

Refuge Sunday School - Junior High and Senior High

Consider starting a plan in the Bible app with fellow students and leaders! In our Sunday school classes we are tackling "tough topics" and the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11. We will be focused on becoming a body that is missional, evangelistic, and sacrificial. On Wednesday nights we are in a series called How It's Made, exploring our identity in Christ and what that means for life and relationship. Find a group and start a plan!
